Angel Rocks Trip Overview
Hike. Climb. Rappel.

Angel Rocks is one of the most popular trails in the Fairbanks vicinity. Located 55 miles east of Fairbanks in the Chena State Recreation Area. The hike begins along the north fork of the Chena River to then steeply hike 900ft in order to gain spectacular, unobstructed views of the Angel Rocks Valley below and surrounded by stunning granite tors that are millions of years old.

From this scenic location, your certified guides will instruct safe use of climbing equipment from putting on a harness to using a belay device. After instruction, muster the courage to climb and rappel on one of the granite tors for the ultimate Alaskan experience from a unique perspective.

Note: This is an experiential trip, to learn more about rappelling or climbing, check out our rock climbing courses!
