Climb for the first time or advance your skills!

W.I.L.D. can help build confidence and competence in a multitude of advanced skills such as anchoring, direct belayed top-roping, anchoring concepts, establishing a functional master point, sport climbing, lead climbing, seconding (following) a lead climb, and more.

If you are seeking to find out what rock climbing is all about, we recommend our camp to gain exposure to climbing.

As we are a mobile business, pick-up & drop-off this year will be the parking lot of Lulu's Bread and Bagels/Bankstown Bike and Ski in the Chena Pump Plaza.

Basics of Rappelling

Dates: June 11th & July 30th

Time: 8am-5:30pm

No Experience Required

This is a good trip to have the experience of what it is like to rappel. Although it is more of an experiential day trip, we will be hiking up to the tors of Angel Rocks to learn the basics of rappelling.

Topics we will be covering include how to put on a harness correctly, how to belay, proper gear to rappel safely and how to use that gear, and applying that knowledge by rappelling down the tors of Angel Rocks.

This is a good trip to have the experience of what it is like to climb outside rock. Although it is more of an experiential day trip, we will be hiking up to the tors of Grapefruit Rocks to learn the basics of rock climbing.

Topics we will be covering include how to put on a harness correctly, how to belay, how to tie a figure-8 and figure-8 follow-through, and applying that knowledge by climbing the tors of Grapefruit Rocks.
